Greek Corner Café | Our Story
A Carlsbad neighborhood table since 1980
Greek Corner Café has been part of San Diego County's dining scene since around late 1980, built on traditional Mediterranean cooking that hasn't chased trends. The same honest food, the same warm welcome — for generations of guests.
How it started
The café put down roots on Marron Road in Carlsbad around late 1980, with a straightforward focus on authentic Mediterranean recipes. That commitment to keeping things real hasn't wavered since.
The food that stayed
Gyros, chicken kebab, falafel, moussaka, Village Salad — none of it has been reinvented for trends. These are the dishes that built a loyal following across Carlsbad and San Diego County.
Recognized beyond the neighborhood
Atly named Greek Corner Café among the USA's 30 best Mediterranean spots for chicken soup, and among California's 13 best spots for soup and tzatziki — recognition earned through the same cooking the café has always done.
Gratitude, served daily
The Greek Corner Café family is genuinely grateful for the decades of community support that have kept the café going strong. Every plate that leaves the kitchen is a small thank-you in return.
